Section 09
Stop obsessing over the wrong number.
Here's the order these numbers actually matter in.
Impressions
Are people being shown your content?
Saves
Is the content useful/inspiring enough to save?
Pin clicks / engagement
Are people interacting with the pin?
Outbound clicks
Are people actually leaving Pinterest for your destination?
Leads + sales
Is the traffic doing something useful for your BUSINESS?
A million impressions with zero meaningful action isn't the goal.
How to optimize
If one topic gets substantially more relevant engagement:
→ Create more angles.
If one hook earns more clicks:
→ Test variations.
If one design consistently performs better:
→ Reuse the structure.
If people click but don't buy:
→ Investigate the landing page / offer.
If nobody clicks:
→ Investigate the pin, promise, audience match + destination.
Pinterest gives you data.
Use it.
